I have been included in an exhibit at the Riverbrink Art Museum in Queenston Ontario. The exhibit is entitled “Dreams and Schemes: Building the Welland Canal”. The exhibit began September 28 and will continue to January 27, 2018. The exhibit shows about 40 pieces of art in a variety of media, Watercolour, Pastel, Pencil and Oils and includes one sketch, of a Canal Lock, by Tom Thomson. I’m thrilled to be a part of this exhibit as 1 of 2 living artists in this show.
I taught Art for 4 and a half years at the Dunlop Senior Centre in St Catharines. It was a huge amount of fun for me and I learned a lot as well. And in March 2019 I will be conducting a Workshop in Watercolour at the RiverBrink Art Museum in Queenston. The Workshop will be on 2 consecutive Saturdays and is aimed at Artists who have always wanted to try Watercolour. It’s a different way of thinking than creating in Oil or Acrylics and we’ll explore some basic techniques.
